Jerry brings a raspy rock n roll/blues voice [sure to send shivers down your spine] that fits perfectly with his thumping bass. Tony is as solid as it gets on the skins and Mr. Gmerek has a great rock and blues soul that comes out in his guitar stylings. When the audience is xtra lucky, the band is accompanied by their horn section.

Hailing from Kent, Ohio, Crooked River Boogie is a rising Blues/Rock outfit formed in the summer of 2024. The trio features Timothy Koehler (guitar, bass, vocals), Bill Rhinehart (bass, guitar, vocals), and Bill’s son, Ian Rhinehart (drums, vocals).With a setlist steeped in classic rock and blues, the band delivers high-energy cover performances at beloved local spots across Kent and Ravenna. Their shows are marked by a homegrown theatrical flair and bold authenticity that honors the tradition of rock and roll while keeping it alive for new audiences.
Jon Mosey - Guitar/Vocals
Jon is a full-time professional musician who plays nearly every instrument with strings. As a performer in a variety of styles his teaching emphasis includes traditional styles of Guitar, Banjo and Mandolin.Jon’s credits include six solo albums and a number of recordings as a studio sideman. He has appeared in films, on radio and T.V. as well as touring throughout the U.S. and Europe. Jon currently keeps his schedule full performing as a solo bluesman, rootsy singer/ song writer, electric roots rocker in his trio, The Jon Mosey Trio, multi-instrumentalist in the Crooked River Stompers and a variety of other bands.
Guy Pernetti - Guitar/Vocals
Guy Pernetti is a solo contemporary American guitarist and singer/songwriter who creates original compositions for the guitar. He is an experienced musician and recording engineer. Guy Pernetti's musical experience began at the age of eight with his first guitar. At sixteen he started composing Spanish style guitar pieces and began performing in coffee houses, then radio programs and colleges.
Pernetti won a place performing on Linkletter Productions, Disney Channel program, 'Up And Coming .' and later, after a first place win in the talent competition at the Kent State Folk Festival 2004, he opened for Maura O'Connell .For three and a half years he served as Musician in Residence through University Circle Inc.'s joint effort with the Cleveland Veterans Administration Hospitals, and the National Endowment for the Arts. Pernetti has an original composition 'Olufela' on Sony Entertainment Groups' 'Kent State May 4th CD Project,' double CD production. On stage, he has opened for such acts as, Leon Russell, Dan Hicks and the Hot Licks, Graham Nash, The Ohio Ballet, David Allen Coe, Brian Auger and the Oblivion Band, David Lindley, Greg Brown, and Chris Thomas King. Guy Pernetti has earned a reputation for clean and beautiful guitar work, along with unique vocal interpretation. With six CD's published, he sings and plays with various styling and special tunings that express an intimacy and feeling for the music. Performing on a wide variety of styles and guitars, including , Dobro and Hawaiian slide instruments, he plays and writes for the electric, steel string and classical guitars as well. Pernetti worked as a music composer for commercial,corporate, and educational productions, for a number of years, while doing studio work, recording projects, and live performance. Guy Pernetti appears from coast to coast and maintains an active schedule.
Peggy Coyle - Vocals
Brad Bolton - Guitar/Vocals
Peggy & Brad perform blues, jazz, country, and pop, sometimes incorporating nostalgic TV theme songs and radio jingles. In 2007, they released an album titled "Peggy and Brad". They are a popular live act in Northeast Ohio and have been featured at venues like Maize Valley and D'Agnese's at White Pond.
Peggy Coyle: Has been singing blues and jazz in the Akron area for decades and has performed with artists and groups like the Mostly Blues Band, Phil Palumbo, Mike Lenz, and the Don Turoso orchestra.
Brad Bolton: In addition to his work with Coyle, he is a guitarist and has performed with other musicians in the Northeast Ohio area
John Markovich - Guitar/Vocals
John has been playing guitar and singing in the NE Ohio area for over 25 years. Playing an eclectic mix of blues, jazz, classic rock, fingerstyle and classical guitar covering songs by Hendrix, Clapton, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Santana, Wes Montgomery, George Benson and Andres Segovia just to name a few.
Cameron Mack - Guitar/Vocals
Cameron, a talented musician based in Kent, Ohio, draws deep inspiration from the rich cultural tapestry of his hometown. Having played guitar and numerous other instruments since a young age, he has developed a versatile and eclectic style. Cameron’s performances are marked by authenticity and a heartfelt connection with his audience. He is passionate about using music to foster new social relationships and create a sense of community. With every song, he invites listeners into a shared musical experience that resonates deeply and personally.
